SBFC is 45 Schools Strong!
Current SBFC Partner Districts, Schools and Organizations Include:
Manhattan Beach Unified School District - MCHS Families Connected, the SBFC Partner school pilot project, was est. August 2015. MBMS Families Connected, serving the middle school was est. May 2016. Together these two projects serve all 7 MBUSD schools in the district.
Rolling Hills Prep & Renaissance Schools - RUHS & Renaissance Families Connected was est. May, 2016, and serves 2 schools.
Palos Verdes High School - PVHS Families Connected was est. November, 2016. It is currently being converted to PVPUSD Families Connected, a resource for the entire Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District, serving all 18 schools
SBCC Thrive LA, an organization serving South Bay relative care givers - Care Families Connected was est. in February 2017 (pro bono).
Redondo Beach Unified School District - RUHS Families Connected was est. January 2017. In May of 2017 it was expanded to RBUSD Families Connected serving all 14 schools.
Hermosa Beach City School District - HBCSHD will launch September 2017 and will serve 3 schools.
Chadwick School - Chadwick Families Connected will launch September 2017 and will serve elementary school parents through High School.
Partner schools receive their own customized Families Connected logo and website and program, choosing from a number of components those that best meet their individual objectives for teen wellness and substance use prevention.
