From the presenter, Dr. Greco,

I am a licensed psychologist who has worked at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, CA for 13 years. I am a clinician treating college-aged students who seek various types of mental health counseling. I also consult with staff/faculty, and I oversee our outreach and prevention programs on campus. A large majority of my role is educating the campus community about wellness, mental health, resiliency, and thriving.  Outside of the campus community, I serve as a consultant and conduct presentations at other educational institutions ranging from elementary to high school.

Resiliency and thriving is a public health topic that impacts the entire community.  Resiliency is an ongoing process that any student can learn and apply.  The individual’s skills and the context or environment that the student resides within can determine the outcome and positive consequences associated with learning these life skills.
