Announcing our new SBFC Youth Advisory Committee Leaders

Angela Bennett (left) and Ann Marie Whitney, SBFC Board President

South Bay Families Connected is excited to announce that Ann Marie Whitney and Angela Bennett will be leading our Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) in the 2025 - 2026 school year!!!

SBFC relies on the members of our YAC to provide a teen's perspective on the resources we are highlighting on the website,  the original content and programming we produce for the SBFC Virtual Teen Center, as well as in-person educational programming in the community. This is an excellent opportunity for youth to develop leadership skills and have a direct impact in improving the social and emotional wellness of youth throughout the South Bay.

To learn more about the role, please access our YAC Application and scroll down to the bottom. Learn more about Ann Marie and Angela below.

I’m really excited to be part of the Youth Advisory! I’m looking forward to connecting with students and hearing their ideas on how we can make South Bay Families Connected even more impactful..
