Leah Niehaus, LCSW, will present this highly illuminating SBFC and BCHD Speaker Series event. All South Bay parents and educators are invited.
The SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk begins next to the Manhattan Beach Pier. Participants will walk south towards the Hermosa Beach Pier for the turnaround point, then return to the Manhattan Beach Pier. The total duration of the Walk is about 3.5 miles.
The purpose of our annual Day At The Beach "Adopt a Child for One Day" is to bring the community together through an easy and memorable event that allows adults to mentor, give back and share time and hope with underprivileged children living in our nearby communities (cities include South Central Los Angeles, Compton, Watts and Long Beach).
The event, presented by the Hermosa Beach Police Department, will kick off with a special recognition of 10 years of the Hermosa Beach Neighborhood Watch program and will continue with lots of free fun for the entire family. Food, games, prizes, and much more!
