The South Bay Families Connected project relies on community support and sponsors to provide funding for the following community service: creation of the SBFC concept and website, ongoing research of local and national resources, website production and resource updates, event calendar management, parent blog management, coordination of the parent connected network, and production of the monthly e-newsletter. SBFC and Beach Cities Health District have partnered to produce the Families Connected Speaker Series, Parent Advisory Committee, and the Parent Chat, a weekly parent support group. Funding from BCHD also supports content production related to those three community services production on the SBFC website. BCHD's partnership and in-kind promotional support since 2016 is invaluable. 

Support from the McMillen Family Foundation funds the ongoing SBFC Opioid Awareness project, related video, event and e-newsletter production, and the Parent Resource Center located at Pages, a bookstore, Manhattan Beach
